Rural Women Artisans of Bihar & Jharkhand

About Avika

AVIKA means “ray of hope” – and it brings a ray of hope to 700 rural women artisans in Jharkhand. Each item we make is hand embroidered or hand woven, or hand dyed or hand painted or has work with the zardozi art form…or has Madhubani art decorating and highlighting the soul of the design!

We try to marry traditional work with a “twist” to contemporary wear

Had an amazing experience shopping with them. I was able to see the intricate hand work being done by the artisans! Was wowed! I actually made a difference even as I bought something lovely for my friend's wedding

Their collection is good. And I like it that they keep adding new handmade products. The quality of craftsmanship done by the women left me speechless - as I too so hand embroidery! Must visit and must buy from them!
